Fiji weather overview
Fiji experiences plenty of rain of the 'liquid sunshine' variety which falls in short, intense bursts interspersed with periods of brilliant sunshine. Temperatures are consistently high throughout the year. Humidity and rainfall are at their highest between November and April although brisk sea breezes generally prevent conditions from becoming unbearably sticky.
Suva is on the southeast coast and, thanks to the prevailing trade winds, is wet all year. You may also find more rain, mist and cooler temperatures on higher ground.
