Equatorial Guinea weather overview

Equatorial Guinea is a small country which borders the Gulf of Guinea to the south of Cameroon and shares its warm, wet climate. Its offshore island, Bioko, is particularly rainy because of its mountainous terrain. Rainfall levels are high and rain is possible at any time of the year although less likely during the relatively dry season from December to February.

High humidity, high temperatures and much cloud make for an oppressive environment throughout the year.
