FAQs

How much is the deposit on a TUI holiday, and when's the balance due?

Standard low deposits vary based on the destination and time period of travel. Typically they range from £60 per person for short & mid haul holiday destinations to £250 per person for long haul holiday destinations. £0 deposits are also available with direct debit.

Additional payments will need to be made when due and the final balance payment is usually 12 weeks before departure, however payment terms vary based on destination and departure dates. It is recommended that you check TUI deposit terms* before booking.

How does TUI's no deposit (book-now-pay-later) option work?

You can pay £0 to secure your next holiday with TUI's book-now-pay-later deposit scheme. Book TUI holidays with direct debit and your payments will be split into at least three payments. If you add any extras or upgrades your direct debit payments will be adjusted.

All payments need to be made before travel with the final balance due 8 weeks before departure. We recommend reading the £0 deposit terms and conditions* before booking.

How does TUI's payment plan work, and what happens if a direct debit is missed?

TUI's direct debit payment plan allows you to spread the cost of your holiday over time with at least three instalments with £0 initial deposit. Once you book and set up your direct debit at checkout the remaining payments will be split equally across the months.

If you're direct debit payment fails you'll be moved onto the standard terms and conditions* and a immediate manual payment will be required. If a second direct debit payment fails the direct debit mandate will be cancelled and you're at risk of your holiday being cancelled.

What's included in a TUI package holiday?

Typically a TUI package holiday includes return flights, accommodation and transfers between airport and hotel or resort (unless stated otherwise). Food and drinks will be included based on the board basis chosen at the holiday accommodation.

Is TUI ATOL and ABTA protected?

Yes, TUI package holidays are fully protected. If you book a holiday including flights, you're protected under the ATOL scheme. Holidays excluding flights are protected under ABTA bonding.

ABTA - The Travel Association: V5126
