What is TUI's Smiles Rewards Club?

TUI's Smiles Rewards Club is the travel group's first-ever global loyalty programme. It's free to sign up to and offers rewards (or ‘Smiles') every time you book a package holiday, flight, cruise, hotel stay or experience with TUI.

The club is open to anybody aged 18 or over, and Smiles rewards are added to the lead name on the booking.

Why become a Smiles Rewards Club member?

If you're booking a holiday, flight, cruise, hotel stay or experience with TUI, you may as well earn rewards for doing so.

Signing up is completely free, and once you've joined the club, you can access its many benefits instantly, including member-only rewards, personalised offers, partner benefits and handpicked TUI treats.

What's more, you'll get 200 welcome Smiles when you join. You'll also get the chance to spin to win a variety of amazing prizes with TUI's Spin the Globe game each month.

When you join the TUI Smiles Rewards Club, you'll be recognised and rewarded for your loyalty. What's more, the programme grows with you: the more you shop with TUI, the more deals and perks you'll unlock.

How to join

If you're aged 18 or over, you can sign up to the TUI Smiles Rewards Club for free, even if you've never booked with TUI before.

All you need to do is set up a myTUI account to get started. Simply log in, and you'll see the option to join the TUI Smiles Rewards Club. Once you're set up and you've accepted the terms and conditions, you'll get access to the best deals, partner perks and exclusive rewards straight away.

How to earn Smiles

Once you've joined TUI's Smiles Rewards Club, you'll collect TUI Smiles every time you book a package holiday, flight, cruise, hotel or experience with TUI. This applies to bookings made on the TUI website and TUI app or in TUI shops and TUI's partner travel shops.

To earn Smiles with TUI, you must be the lead name on a booking. Use the same email address each time so any Smiles from bookings are credited to the same account. Always log in every time you visit the TUI website or app so you can see the latest offers and rewards in your dashboard before you book.

Earning table

If you'd like to see how you've built up your Smiles, head to your Smiles activity tracker and you'll be able to see a breakdown of how and when you've collected your Smiles. You'll find the link at the top of your dashboard, along with your Smiles balance. Smiles typically appear in your dashboard within two to three days of booking.

Please note, you can't collect Smiles when booking directly on a partner hotel website. It's also not possible to earn Smiles from someone else's booking; you must be the lead name on the booking in order to collect Smiles.

How to spend Smiles

Smiles work differently to typical reward points. While they're similar in the way that they're earned by making bookings, Smiles aren't spent like cash. Instead, you collect them to unlock the next membership level. The more Smiles you have, the higher your membership level and the more exclusive perks and discounts you'll unlock.

If there are TUI Smiles Rewards Club discount codes showing in your rewards dashboard, you'll be able to use them on eligible bookings. Simply add your chosen holiday, flight or hotel to your basket and enter your code in the promotional code box on the payment screen. Select ‘Validate Code', and the discount will be applied to your holiday price.

Please note that only one promotional code can be used per booking and codes are designed to be personal to you. They should not be shared. Codes are also only eligible on new bookings; they can't be added afterwards if you've already completed your purchase.

Smiles Rewards Club membership tiers

The more you book and engage with TUI, the more Smiles you'll collect and the more you'll progress through the programme's three membership tiers. The higher your level, the more TUI treats, partner perks and priority service become available to you.

Smiles membership levels stay active for 12 months from the day you collect them. They're then recalculated every 12 months; the number of Smiles you have at this point determines your level. Any unused Smiles expire 12 months after you collect them.
