Congo-Brazzaville weather overview
The Republic of Congo, known as Congo-Brazzaville to distinguish it from its neighbour Congo-Kinshasa, lies in Central Africa and has hilly to mountainous terrain with a vast plain bordering the Atlantic. Northern Congo-Brazzaville is rainier than the south and the coastal areas which have a dry season from June to September.
Further north, heavy rains fall from January to May and again from October to December. Throughout the year, both temperatures and humidity can be high.
