Guadeloupe weather overview

The French-owned islands of Guadeloupe are the southernmost of the Leeward Islands. The main rainy season here is from June to November but showers can occur at any time of the year. The rainfall statistics are for Camp Jacob and reflect the much heavier rains that occur throughout the year in the mountainous interior. Hurricanes can hit the islands between July and November.

Temperatures are high throughout the year and high humidity can make life a sticky business during the rainy season in particular, although nights are cooler than days.

What to pack for Guadeloupe weather

Pack light cotton clothing with warmer cover-ups for inland areas and winter evenings. Also go prepared for rain, whatever the time of year.
