Do I need to quarantine in the UK if I travel from Samoa?

Samoa is on the Amber list in the UK.

If you have been in or through Samoa in the previous 10 days, and are not exempt by reason of being fully vaccinated, you must quarantine at home for 10 days when arriving in the UK.

A pre-departure test in Samoa is required as well as PCR tests on days 2 & 8 in the UK while in quarantine. The Test to Release scheme can be used in England on day 5 to shorten the quarantine period.

Adults who have been fully vaccinated by the NHS and under 18s arriving in England from 19 July are exempt from quarantine but must still take the Day 2 test.
