Anguilla weather overview
Anguilla lies in the middle of the Leeward Islands and, as well as being big on tourism, it is famous for its lobsters and is a major exporter of salt. It has a tropical oceanic climate which produces some rain all year. The wettest months are from May to December and, between July and November, you could encounter hurricane conditions.
Typically for a Caribbean island, Anguilla's summer is hotter than the winter but temperatures are never extreme, averaging 27°C (80°F) throughout the year. Even at its hottest, the island is never unbearable because sea breezes help dissipate the humidity, although it can feel sticky at night.
What to pack for Anguilla weather
Pack light cotton clothing with cover-ups for the occasional chilly winter evening and be prepared for rain during the summer months.
