Sofia Vasconcelos graduated from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. After working for 12 years as a full time vet, she decided to change career and become a travel writer.
Born in Madeira Island, she has always had a curious spirit, passion for writing and travelling the world. Her blog, From Madeira to Mars, covers her adventures in Madeira, travels in Portugal or wherever life takes her.
