Armenia weather overview

Armenia, which features Mount Ararat of Noah's Ark fame, is a small mountainous country whose summers are a joy. Its inhabitants bask in up to 12 hours of sunshine and high temperatures every day, although nights can be chilly.

Rainfall is light from June to September. Winters are a different story: they are extremely cold with heavy snowfalls.
