Are there entry restrictions to Maine due to the coronavirus?
Maine is closed for tourism from the UK. Non-resident foreign nationals travelling from the UK are banned from entering.
Negative PCR or Antigen test results required for arrivals from the UK. All arrivals face a period of quarantine on entering Maine. Mandatory 2nd test 3-5 days after arrival.

Do I need to quarantine in the UK if I travel from the USA?
USA is on the Amber list in the UK.
If you have been in or through the USA in the previous 10 days, and are not exempt by reason of being fully vaccinated, you must quarantine at home for 10 days when arriving in the UK.
A pre-departure test in the USA is required as well as PCR tests on days 2 & 8 in the UK while in quarantine. The Test to Release scheme can be used in England on day 5 to shorten the quarantine period.
Adults who have been fully vaccinated in the UK, US or EU and under 18s arriving are exempt from quarantine but must still take the Day 2 test.
