Cambodia weather overview

Cambodia lies within the tropics and has a monsoon climate with rains arriving in May and lasting until October. Rainfall is heaviest in the south western hills and on the slopes surrounding the Gulf of Thailand. The rainy season brings cloudy days, hot and humid conditions and the risk of heat exhaustion. From December to April, the weather is largely hot and sunny although temperatures can fall quite low in the northern hills.

What to pack for Cambodia weather

Take light clothes, whatever the time of year, supplemented by warmer wear if you are travelling north in the winter and waterproofs for the rains.
