The Harry Potter Tour is located at the Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, about 20 miles north-west of London, where the Harry Potter films were made. The 'Making of Harry Potter' tour was opened in 2012 and is open seven days a week throughout the year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Hogwarts Castle Model

This outstanding model took 86 people to create and has been remodeled several times since its conception. It allows visitors to get a detailed 360° view of the castle and was used to generate many of the CGI effects you see in the Harry Potter films.

First built for use in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone(tm), the castle is nearly 50 feet in diameter and uses an array of fibre-optic lights to simulate the students passing by the windows. The attention to detail is quite magnificent. Real plants were used as well as miniature birds, each door is hinged and artists even built replicas of real life courtyards from where actual film scenes were shot.
