With a passionate and dedicated team, Topdeck carefully crafts small trip itineraries capped at a maximum of 18 people, with a range of activities thrown in: be it wine-tasting over lunch in Sorrento, or taking part in a meditative martial arts training session in a Buddhist temple in Seoul.
Topdeck Travel also includes selected meals and food activities, as well as plenty of time to explore each location.

Do I need to book travel insurance?
Always. It's really important to organise travel insurance for any trip, and with a Topdeck* trip, it's a requirement. In fact, you'll be prohibited from travel if you don't have an active comprehensive travel insurance policy covering you for the likes of cancellation, medical expenses and personal injury.
It is recommended to book your travel insurance at the time of booking your trip and always read the fine print so that you understand your excess limits and which activities you're covered for, particularly if you're contemplating high-risk sports while you're away.
Will friends and family be able to contact me while I'm away?
Yes, of course. Most of Topdeck's overnight accommodation offers complimentary Wi-Fi, and you can also access Wi-Fi in public areas such as local cafés and restaurants.
Alternatively, you can chat to your phone provider about an international roaming deal or arrange an eSIM for your travels, which will save you money on roaming fees. If you're without connectivity at any point and are worried about being contacted in the event of an emergency, panic not. Topdeck HQ has a 24/7 direct line to your trip leader.
How much luggage can I bring?
All Topdeck travellers are limited to one item of standard-sized luggage as well as a day pack. The maximum weight of your main bag must be no heavier than 44lb/20kg, and it must not exceed 70cm x 45cm x 25cm in size. It's recommended to pack as light as possible with a soft bag or spacious backpack in case there are any luggage restrictions on public transport (plus, it means you'll be able to carry your belongings around more comfortably).
