Ships

Disney Cruise Line operates four ships, each with their own flair and colourful identity:

  • Disney Magic
  • Disney Wonder
  • Disney Dream
  • Disney Fantasy

Each ship has space for families to enjoy time together, as well as giving adults and children the space to do their own thing.

There's themed deck parties, live shows, screenings of Disney films and so much more for families, while young children can join the kids' club, play in the supervised play areas, get dressed up in Disney costumes, splash about in the kids' pool and take part in themed activities.

For older children, there's a dedicated lounge where they can play video games, go online and generally hang out to meet new people and make friends.

Adults are considered, with a special adult-only swimming pool, and selection of restaurants, lounges and nightclubs to enjoy once the little ones are asleep.

Disney Magic & Disney Wonder

As the initial ships created for Disney Cruise Line, both Disney Magic* and Disney Wonder* pride themselves in channeling an element of 20th century charm. Each has 11 decks and 877 staterooms - a mixture of standard and deluxe.

All standard rooms are spacious with couches and separate bathrooms and toilets, while deluxe rooms guarantee an ocean view with a verandah and whirlpool.

The exterior of both ships was inspired by Mickey Mouse, with black, red, white and yellow paint used on the hull, funnels, decks and more.

Disney Dream & Disney Fantasy

Disney Dream* and Disney Fantasy* are slightly larger ships, each with 14 decks and 1,250 staterooms. Standard rooms are also spacious, with a couch, separate bathrooms with bathtubs, and verandahs with a view for deluxe rooms.

All internal rooms have Magical Portholes which stream outside views in real-time so you never feel like you're missing out.

These ships also benefit from adult-only spas and fitness centres to help relax and keep fit while at sea. Both have an AquaDuck water coaster and a Buena Vista Theatre which screens classic Disney films throughout the journey.

Depending which itinerary you choose will determine which ship you stay on, however, Disney Magic* is the only ship which operates cruises around the Mediterranean.
