The ship, which is currently operating as Mein Schiff Herz under TUI Cruises in Germany, will undergo a major revamp that will result in it resembling other members of Marella's fleet.

Voyager will have the same capacity as Marella Explorer* and Marella Explorer 2* with room for just under 2,000 passengers. It will feature 10 bars, including a cosy speakeasy and lounge, and 10 restaurants including a Mexican diner.

Chris Hackney, Managing Director of Cruise at TUI UK and Ireland said: "We're really excited and it's a great addition to our fleet. Voyager is a similar size to the ships we already have and we'll have a consistent product offering across the fleet as well as fresh ideas.

"There will be a lot of similarities in terms of the core fundamentals, all-inclusive and family-friendly, and it gives us the chance to come into the market with something new and something to build on after what will hopefully be a successful summer next year."

Places aboard Voyager's debut season will go on sale on 4 November 2021.
