Lufthansa* is a large German airline ranked number 11 in the world in terms of the number of aircraft it operates, with just under 300, flying over 145 million passengers a year on over 400 flights a day across five continents.
Lufthansa flies to Frankfurt and Munich in Germany from seven airports in the UK. In addition you can fly from Jersey to Munich with Lufthansa.

Lufthansa offers four different types of ticket on long-haul flights - Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First Class, but First Class is only available on the larger Airbus aircraft, the A380 800 and the A340 600, so the typical long-haul configuration is Economy, Premium Economy and Business while on short-haul, Economy and Business Class is the norm.

Lufthansa serves complimentary meals and snacks* on all its flights, which includes free hot and cold drinks, including some alcoholic drinks. It will also cater for all special dietary requirements.
Free on-board entertainment* includes films and TV programmes from all over the world and a vast selection of music of all kinds.
In-flight Internet access* is not free, however there are three different tariff options for Wi-Fi on board so you can select how much you want to spend depending on what you want to do and whether you are flying long or short-haul.
Lufthansa Miles & More
Lufthansa has a frequent flyer and awards programme called Miles & More* which is organised into three tiers, Frequent Traveller, Senator and HON Circle. You not only earn miles by flying on Lufthansa and its 40 partner airlines, but also on some hotel bookings.
And there are numerous opportunities to redeem air miles when you need a free flight, an upgrade or to pay for your car hire. You can even use miles to pay for on-board Internet. It is free to join, and Lufthansa will give you 500 miles on the day you join.
