Emirates restarts flights from London Stansted
In response to growing international demand, UAE-based airline Emirates* restarted flights to Dubai from London Stansted* on 1 August 2022. The airline has begun with five-weekly flights but plans to increase this to daily flights over the coming weeks.
With its return to London Stansted, Emirates now offers flights from three London airports. In addition to London Stansted, London Gatwick* offers twice-daily flights and London Heathrow* no fewer than six flights per day.
Emirates Divisional Vice President in the UK, Richard Jewsbury, said: "We are delighted to be recommencing services to and from Stansted and offering passengers further connectivity during the popular summer holiday period.
"Bookings in the UK and London have continued to surge with the further easing of travel restrictions and as appetite for international travel grows stronger. Stansted is a key hub for Emirates in the east and southeast of the UK as we continue to scale up travel following the pandemic."
