Virgin Australia offers a generous baggage allowance in all classes of travel, starting at a 23 kg bag for economy passengers, and rising to three 32 kg bags for those travelling in premium or business class, or with silver or higher Velocity status. Those travelling in, from or to Australia with infants and children in 2021/2022 will find Virgin Australia's special baggage policy useful; passengers can check in two items such as a pram, stroller, cot or car seat at no extra charge in addition to their regular luggage.
No single piece of checked baggage in any class of travel can exceed 32 kg on any route.
