Digital Marketing Executive
- Location: Woking, Surrey, UK
- Job type: permanent, full time
- Salary: entry level, competitive
We're looking for a dynamic digital marketing executive to join the Weather2Travel.com team in Woking, Surrey. The job will include working alongside our director to manage relationships with our partner travel brands (including creating copy and posting the latest deals), publishing the weekly newsletter and other ad hoc tasks.
Join our small, nimble team and you'll have the opportunity to learn from all areas of the business and collaborate with colleagues and clients. You'll have a proactive, can-do attitude and be able to support across the business and contribute to our growth, participate in our strategic discussions and help increase brand awareness.
You'll also lead in the creation of marketing materials and newsletter content. You'll need to be a good team player with an interest in travel.
Key responsibilities
- maintain marketing messages for leading travel clients
- work closely with the director to maintain relationships with travel clients
- keep up to date with the latest travel trends and news
- own marketing tasks including weekly newsletter using Mailchimp
Key skills & experience
You will have excellent writing skills and be able to tell a good digital story with a solid all-round knowledge of digital marketing. You will be able to work independently within a small team and be confident and professional at networking events. The following is essential:
- good writing skills including copywriting, SEO and headline writing
- experience of digital marketing (including affiliate and content marketing)
- good timekeeping and organisational skills
- able to prioritise tasks
Working knowledge of following tools is essential:
- Google Drive and/or MS Office
- Mailchimp
- Photoshop
