The fare structure at P&O Ferries is quite complex and specific to each route. However, here's an overview of the types of fares available and what you can expect from each, from budget to more indulgent options:

  • Saver - no frills, economy ticket with standard inside cabin on overnight journeys, booking fee, nonrefundable
  • Standard Flexi - Standard outside cabin with a little more flexibility, changeable (ticket difference fee), refundable ticket with 30 minutes free wifi
  • Fully Flexi - travel whenever suits you, no booking fee, fully refundable
  • Premier - travel anytime in a Premier outside cabin (or with access to Club Lounge on shorter routes); changeable, refundable ticket including priority boarding and 30 minutes free wifi
  • Premier Plus - travel anytime in a Premier outside cabin (or with access to Club Lounge on shorter routes); changeable, refundable ticket including priority boarding and 30 minutes free wifi

Travelling with P&O Ferries

What's on offer during your journey will depend which route you're taking, and on which ship. You may be onboard for 90 minutes, 15 hours or something in between - no matter what, you're guaranteed plenty of food, drink and entertainment options to help you pass the time.

Watch out for packages when you book online, as you could save by purchasing a dining bundle or similar in advance.

Facilities onboard P&O Ferries

The onboard facilities vary greatly across the different ships and routes, however, you can expect to find at least one of the following facilities on board every ferry when you travel with P&O Ferries:

  • dining - choose from a selection of cafes, bars and themed restaurants
  • entertainment - from cinemas and casinos to live music, kids' play areas and wifi, there's something for everyone on a P&O ferry crossing*
  • shopping - stock up on alcohol, beauty products, food and more on most international routes with up to 40% off

The Club Lounge

Sit back, relax and enjoy your crossing in style in the Club Lounge. Whether you gain access as part of your Premier ticket or pay extra on top of your booking from £12, it's worth every penny as you're guaranteed the following:

  • light and spacious surroundings

P&O Ferries - cabins

If you're travelling on either the Hull to/from Zeebrugge or Hull to/from Rotterdam routes, you will have the option to select a cabin type. Every overnight booking includes a cabin, although you can opt to pay a little more for luxuries such as added space. The cabins available include:

  • Standard - great value cabins with shower room, toilet, towels and bed linen
  • Premier - choose from two or five berth, inside or outside, plus shower room, toilet, towels and bed linen
  • Club - all of the above with extras including a bit more space, a TV, plus tea and coffee making facilities

If you're travelling on the Liverpool to/from Dublin ferry, you will be allocated a Standard cabin, as neither Premier or Club options are available on this route.
