If you are looking for the best last minute deals on skiing holidays here is a selection of tour operators who can provide you with a deal before the season comes to an end; most of them will probably also be able to find you and your family a skiing holiday over half-term.

1) Ski France
Ski France is a well established ski tour operator, run by people who are passionate about skiing, that focuses on chalet, apartment and hotel based holidays to just thirty or so resorts in the French Alps.
The Ski France ski deals page takes you straight to the heart of its best offers. But there are also deals available on many holidays that can be found searching by resort, such as to La Plagne, Meribel and Val d'Isere.
Sometimes holidays to certain destinations have lift pass offers such as 'buy one get one free'. You can also save money on ski and snowboard hire if you book these through Ski France rather than waiting until you arrive on the slopes.
2) Mark Warner

You can select these by departure date, departure airport, country and board basis simply by going to the Crystal Ski Deals page and choosing your search method.
Crystal Ski is also offering 2 for 1 deals on equipment hire, ski carriage for certain resorts and you can even get free lift passes, or 2 for 1 lift passes. With flights from 17 regional UK airports it is likely that you will find a holiday that departs from somewhere near where you live.

5) Balkan Holidays
If you fancy a skiing holiday in Bulgaria, Slovenia or Romania then Balkan Holidays may be the right ski tour operator for you. It provides packages for a number resorts which are certainly good value for money. Have a look at their deals pages to see what's on offer.

Thomas Cook is offering up to 50% off on some of its ski packages, and 10% off half term family packages; and there are a lot of them. If you are planning to drive to the slopes they also have some 'hotel only' deals especially for you.
And if you can only take a few days off there are some 'long weekend' deals as well. You can choose very precisely by date, destination and departure airport or simply find the country deals pages such as France (French Alps) and Austria.
9) easyJet holidays
easyJet holidays is a great website on which to book a skiing holiday. There are drop down lists for all the major ski areas with particularly detailed information on all hotels, and there are lots of different types of accommodation available from basic to luxury.
Start on the easyJet holidays Ski Deals page to see its latest offers or search by destination and date. But remember with easyJet holidays you have to add the cost of transfers and baggage to the holiday price.
In the unlikely event that you will need to be helicoptered off the side of a mountain it is always a good idea to take out a winter sports travel insurance policy before you leave home. Also make sure you have some proper ski gloves, warm socks and a good hat.
